November at the hall
The clocks have gone back and the autumn leaves are fading but there are still plenty of events and classes happening at Painters Forstal Community Hall.
This month kicks off with a fantastic opportunity to have your perfect pooch photographed by the award-winning dog photographer Mike Slattery. Bring your dog or dogs along to the hall on Sunday 5th November for a 20-minute professional photography session followed by a choice of between 8 to 20 lightly edited watermarked proof images.
On Wednesday 8th November at 10am there is another opportunity to make a seasonal wreath with the talented Kim of Tumbleweed and Honesty. The Junior Herbalist Club continues on Saturday 11th November at 1pm. In a world increasingly dominated by technology and indoor activities, the importance of children learning about nature cannot be overstated. Nature is a wondrous teacher, offering invaluable lessons about the world around us and fostering a sense of wonder and curiosity. The Junior Herbalist Club offers children between the ages of 7 and 12 years old the chance to learn about plant identification, plant safety and how herbal remedies and medicine work.
